Girl survives jet crash that killed all other passengers in French Alps

GENEVA, Switzerland — According to Reuters, a small passenger jet crashed early Monday, March 4 in the French Alps. The plane, originating from a small town near Geneva, had not been in the air long, when it began having trouble.

The plane crashed into a residential area hitting at least one house. Of the three passengers on board, only a young girl survived.

She was found among the wreckage with severe fractures.

“It (the plane) hit the roof of a first house before it crashed in the yard of a neighboring house,” state official Pierre Molager told Reuters.
