Police investigate death inside dorm at University of Colorado – Boulder

BOULDER, Colo. — Residents of a dormitory on the University of Colorado – Boulder campus are on edge after they were told about a death in the dorm.

CU police were investigating the death of a man in dorm room at Libby Hall. He died Tuesday morning.

Libby Hall is home to about 400 students.

“The initial investigation into the Feb. 26, 2013, death in Libby Hall has revealed no obvious signs of foul play,” says CU police spokesman Ryan Huff.

He also said investigators did not believe there was a threat to the campus.

The Boulder County Coroner’s Office will release the name of the man once notification of next of kin is complete.
