Video: Manning visits troops on USO tour

DENVER -- Denver Broncos Quarterback Peyton Manning took a break from his off-season workouts to visit US troops stationed throughout Europe.

Manning, along with several other big-name athletes completed a USO tour in Europe that ran from Feb.25 to March 2. Stops included locations such as Naples, Italy, where Manning addressed more than 300 service members and their families.

"I just want to say thank you for having us here. It's a real honor and pleasure for me to be here and for all of us to be here. I just can't thank all of you enough from the bottom of my heart for protecting our country," Manning told a crowd of 300 service members. "We truly appreciate all the sacrifices you make."

The tour also stopped in Rota, Spain and Sigonella, Italy.

Along with Manning the group included Colts wide receiver Austin Collie, Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson, former Phillies pitcher, Kurt Schilling and Cowboys Cheerleaders.
