FROSTPROOF, Fla. — A Florida man was shot in the leg by his dog, and walked away without serious injuries.

West Palm Beach’s WPBF-TV reported that 35-year-old Gregory Dale Lanier and his dog were riding in his truck on Saturday, when the dog kicked the loaded gun on the floor and shot him in the leg.

According to the station, Lanier told authorities he didn’t know the .380 pistol was loaded.

Police ruled the shooting as accidental.
