Wrong way driver causes 2 crashes on I-25

DENVER — A driver caused three crashes after getting on I-25 and started driving south in the northbound lanes Monday night according to Denver Police.

The driver entered the northbound lanes at Hampden Ave. and headed south. Police say there were two accidents, one near Hampden and one near Orchard Rd.

Greenwood Village police were able to stop the driver south of Orchard Rd.

There were no serious injuries.

Investigators believe the driver experienced some type of medical problem.
