DENVER — Nestlé is recalling LEAN CUISINE Culinary Collection Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli because of the possibility of glass fragments.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment announced the recall Monday.

The recall includes ravioli with the production codes 2311587812 and 2312587812 and the “best before date” of Dec. 2013.

To locate the production code, consumers should look for the gray “proof of purchase” panel, located on the right end flap of the package, below the ingredient statement.

“Nestlé is taking this action after three consumers reported they found small fragments of glass in the ravioli portion of the entrée,” said health department spokesman Mark Salley.

No injuries have been reported.

The frozen entrees were sold nationwide and some may have been available at King Soopers locations, Salley said.

Anyone who has a recalled entrée should call Nestlé Consumer Services at 866-586-9424.
