ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. — Officials say they believe the body of a missing man from Texas was found near Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park Tuesday.

Troy Green, 39, was reporting missing last week when his wife didn’t hear from him. The man from San Antonio was scheduled to attend a conference in Denver, but didn’t make it.

His rental car was found near Bear Lake Friday.

Two people who were snowshoeing found a body against a tree north and west of Bear Lake Tuesday.

The Larimer County Coroner’s office won’t release an official identification until an autopsy is finished, but officials say they believe it is Troy Green.
