Southbound I-25 reopened at Hwy 34 after multiple accidents

LOVELAND, Colo. — Southbound I-25 was closed in Loveland at Highway 34 for just over an hour after multiple accidents were reported in the area.

A Tweet from the Colorado State Patrol showed vehicle scatter across the road as emergency crews worked to clean up the scene.

The Colorado Department of Transportation announced the closure at approximately 11:45 a.m. and said motorists were being advised to use Highway 34 as a detour. 

As of 1:05, CDOT said crews had completed the cleanup process and the interstate was reopened.
