DENVER — A crash involving three vehicles Thursday looked bad with all the twisted and smashed debris.

Amazingly enough, everyone walked away without any major injuries.

It happened at Emerson and Ellsworth in Denver.

A dark colored SUV and a light colored one collided in the intersection. The light colored SUV flipped onto its top. Witnesses say the driver of that vehicle climbed out of the back end with a scratch on his wrist.

A woman driving the darker colored SUV was also walking around. Witnesses say both appeared shaken by the impact of their collision and the predicament they were in, but otherwise appeared okay.

A red car parked on the side of the street was smashed as well. That’s bad news for the owner of that car, who wasn’t home.

Police knew how to contact the owner of that vehicle to let that person know what happened.

Police were investigating how the crash happened and who caused it.
