Argument between male, female leads to deadly Aurora shooting

AURORA, Colo. — Three are in custody and one is dead after an early morning argument turned deadly in Aurora Friday.

Aurora police spokesperson Frank Fania said it all began in the 10700 block of East Exposition Avenue at approximately 1:25 a.m. Witnesses told police \they heard and a male and female arguing near a parking lot in the area.

Shortly after that, witnesses reported hearing shots fired.

When police arrived on the scene, they found a wounded female lying in the parking lot. She was transferred to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Two men and one woman were detained near the scene, and Fania said police are not looking for additional suspects.

No identities have been released as of 6:15 a.m.
