LAKEWOOD, Colo. — A Good Samaritan helped stop a hit-and-driver and police were able to catch the suspect.

Police say two pedestrians were hit at Sheridan Blvd. and W. 10th Ave at about 4 p.m. The victims went to a hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators say a witness followed the suspect vehicle, a white Cadillac. The driver was stopped when the car crashed near 6th Ave. and Ingalls St. and the suspect tried to run away on foot.

Officers were already in the area and they caught him.
