GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Kelsie Elise Frick always knew her name was an “en” short of being wildly entertaining. For the sake of those who might have otherwise been dozing through her graduation ceremony at Grand Valley State University, she took the liberty of adding it.

And the outcome was awesome. Quite literally.

Each graduating student that was set to walk across the stage on Dec. 8 was required to write a card with their name spelled phonetically as a courtesy to presenters.

Kelsie’s card read, “Kelsie Elise Frick-en-awesome.”

The presenter read the card in its entirely — only slightly skipping a beat — to the delight of everyone in attendance.

You can watch that reading, along with the crowd’s amused response, in the video above. With over 100,000 views in less than a week, it has officially gone viral.
