Germaine “Jello” Wallace was sentenced to 15 years in prison for coercing a 20-year-old woman into prostitution.

DENVER – A Denver man accused of coercing a 20-year-old woman into prostitution and sexually assaulting her pleaded guilty to charges Monday.

Germaine “Jello” Wallace, 38, pleaded guilty to pimping and possession of a controlled substance, said court spokeswoman Lynn Kimbrough.

He was immediately sentenced to 15 years in prison.

“Wallace traveled across the country and operated prostitution rings for more than a decade, leaving behind a trail of victims and a lengthy criminal history,” Kimbrough said.

He was arrested in 2010 thanks in large part to the work of the FBI’s Innocence Lost Task Force, a partnership of local and federal agencies that finds and rescues victims of human sex trafficking.

Wallace’s Denver victim was in the courtroom during the sentencing hearing Monday, Kimbrough said. “She is now safely living out-of-state,” she added.
