AURORA, Colo. — The newborn who is known as the “miracle baby” is out of the hospital and now recovering at home Friday.

Lizbeth McComas is the 5-week-old little girl who was nearly killed in a nasty rollover crash almost two weeks ago.

A driver who police say was going 100 miles an hour slammed into the back of Lizbeth’s car on Parker Rd. near I-225. Both vehicles rolled over following the collision.

Lizbeth’s mother was able to get out of the wreckage of the vehicle with relatively minor injuries. Lizbeth had a head injury.

The girl, who is now 7-weeks-old is lucky to be alive according to rescuers and doctors.

They say she survived because her mother had her strapped into a car seat properly.
