SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — What you are about to see in the video above is a recap of Sam Gordon’s highlights from the 2012 football season. And just so you know, Sam is a girl who tucks her pony tail under her helmet.

Brent Gordon uploaded the video to show off the skills of his 9-year-old daughter dominating a boys tackle football league in Salt Lake City. One look at the video, and you’ll know why he took the time to do so.

“When she was about 3 or 4 years old and we would play soccer out in the yard with my older son,” Gordon told Good Morning America. “They’d try to be a little bit rough with her and even intentionally try to kick the ball at her and she wouldn’t get fazed. She always got back up.

“I kind of had an idea that she had an aggressive mentality back then.”

The stats now back that idea up.

This past season, Sam carried the ball 232 times for 1,911 yards with 35 touchdowns while averaging 8.2 yards per touch.
