The dispute over donations to Aurora theater shooting victims escalated again Tuesday.

Families of 24 shooting victims want the Colorado Attorney General and Secretary of State to investigate the charity Giving First, which collected donations.

They sent a letter Thursday detailing their request to look into how and where donations were distributed.

They also want to prevent the names and pictures of the victims from being used without permission.

Families will meet with mediator Kenneth Feinberg, who has created a timetable to resolve the dispute and distribute money.
