DENVER — Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson, a Republican, announced Monday that he’s endorsing Ethan Feldman, the Democratic candidate for district attorney.

“I have known Ethan Feldman as a prosecutor, private attorney, Judge, and friend for most of his career,” Robinson said in a statement released by Feldman’s campaign. “He has consistently earned the respect of this community and his colleagues. I know that Ethan will serve with integrity, professionalism, and a dedication to justice when elected as our next District Attorney. I am proud to support him for District Attorney in the 18th Judicial District.”

In the battle to succeed term-limited District Attorney Carol Chambers, Feldman faces Republican George Brauchler in the 18th Judicial District, the state’s largest which is comprised of Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert and Lincoln counties.

Feldman is a former prosecutor, defense attorney and judge in the 18th District.

Brauchler served as a prosecutor and most recently, as the chief prosecutor for Fort Carson, the 4th Infantry Division, and the entire U.S. Division-North in Iraq.
