DORAL, Fla. -- The scars cover Isabel Gonzalez's face, and she is in pain.

"I told my mother, please take care of my children,” Gonzalez said. “I don't think I am going to live."

She's spent a month and a half in the hospital undergoing 5 operations -- all after a visit to Viviana's Body Secrets Spa in Doral, Fla. this June. She said she received vitamin injections for a more youthful look.

“It was a very thick substance,” Gonzalez said, describing the procedure. “They had to use a larger syringe to extract it from the bottle."

Shortly after that process, Gonzalez's face began to swell and became infected. Fearing for her life, Gonzalez checked herself into the hospital in early August.

"My face stayed swollen,” Gonzalez said. “You could barely see my eyes."

She is now suing the owner of the spa, Vivian Ayala, who was arrested late last week.

Ayala's spa in Florida has been shut down, and she's being charged with a slew of felonies, including practicing without a license and battery.

Ayala’s attorney is adamant her client only performed a facial on Gonzalez.

"She (Gonzalez) was never injected -- not with vitamins, or any other type of substance,” Milena Abreu said. “Ms. Ayaya has been practicing for several years, and does not work with injections."

This case will how head to court, and a jury will decide who is telling the truth. Whatever the outcome, Gonzalez says she will never be the same.
