Broncos blog: Broncos take on Texans

2:37 p.m.: Prater’s 32-yard field goal gives the Broncos a 5-0 lead against the Texans in the bottom of the first quarter. The Broncos start out strong.

2:44 p.m.: Texans’ Schaub throws 60-yard touchdown to Andre Johnson. Houston leads 7-5.

2:47 p.m.: Manning has a pass to Decker. 35 yards.

2:59 p.m. : Broncos fans are cheering loud at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Texans lead Broncos 7-5 at the end of the first quarter with 3 runs in a row for the start of the second quarter. 

3:05 p.m.: Arian Foster just completed a 97-yard touchdown drive, taking Houston in the lead 14-5.

3:18 p.m.: Tracy Porter tries to defend 52-yard touchdown to Kevin Walter. Texans lead 21-5.

3:25 p.m.: Peyton completes pass to D. Thomas, looks like he struggles to get up a bit.

3:29 p.m.: Broncos field goal, Texans still in the lead 21-8.

3:57 p.m.: Matt Prater’s 53-yard field goal gives the Broncos 3 more points. Texans lead 21-11.

4:30 p.m.: Manning shakes his head as he heads toward the sideline. Texans now ahead 24-11.

4:58 p.m.: After the end of the 3rd, Texans up 31-11. Willis McGahee also has a rib injury.

5:18 p.m.: Broncos recover fumble by Ben Tate and Stokley’s quick touchdown puts Broncos up 7. Houston up 31-18.

5:33 p.m.: Stokley is hurt after a nine-yard catch, and Manning throws to Thomas for a touchdown but his second foot wasn’t inside the line.

5:39 p.m.: Touchdown Broncos! Manning throws to Decker and Dreessen gets the touchdown off of a deflection. Texans up 31-25.

5:50 p.m.: Broncos defense started with a bang, but they fell 6 points short in the end losing 31-25 to the Texans at the end of the 4th. The Broncos are now 1-2.
