DENVER — The Governor’s Mansion and a nearby apartment complex were without water Friday afternoon due to a water main break.

A 12″ line at 400 E. 8th Ave. broke at about noon. Crews shut down all but one lane of 8th Ave. between Pennsylvania and Logan streets.

Repairs are expected to be completed and water restored to the Governor’s Mansion and the apartments at 801 Pennsylvania St. by 5:30 p.m. Friday.
