DENVER — President Barack Obama arrived in Colorado late Wednesday night ahead of a campaign appearance he will make in Golden Thursday.

Air Force One landed at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora at about 9:30 p.m. The President quickly got into a vehicle and his motorcade made its way to the Stapleton area of Denver where he spent the night.

The President’s two most recent visits to Colorado have been to the college campuses at CSU in Fort Collins and CU in Boulder.

Thursday he’ll campaign in Jefferson County, a key battleground to winning in Colorado.

The rally is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Community Center in Golden.
