Passenger forces flight to divert to Denver

DENVER – An unruly passenger forced a United Airlines flight to divert to Denver Saturday morning.

“The flight landed safely and without incident at 10:18 a.m.,” airline representative Mary Ryan told FOX31 Denver. “The passenger was removed from the flight and met by authorities.”

FOX31 Denver has learned the passenger was not arrested.

United flight 734 was en route from San Francisco to Chicago with 143 passengers on board.

The flight departed Denver shortly after 11:00 a.m. and is scheduled to land in Chicago at 2:23 p.m.

No injuries were reported.
