Sunflower Markets donate to Aurora theater victims, you can too
Sprouts and Sunflower Markets will donate 100,000 from the sale of excess equipment to aid the immediate and long-term needs of the Aurora theater tragedy victims.
Sprouts Farmers Market, which own 146 stores in eight Southwest states, recently acquired 12 Sunflower Markets in Colorado. The donation is being made to the Aurora Victim Relief Fund.
“This is our way of letting the community of Aurora know the family of Sprouts cares about them,” Sprouts President Doug Sanders said. “This is what neighbors do for one another. We are proud to be Aurora’s neighbor and help them in any way possible.”
The Aurora Victim Relief Fund is administered through the Community First Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity that provides tax incentives for donations as allowed by law. The foundation, which has served the Denver metro area for more than 35 years, is waiving all fees for the administration of this fund.
