DENVER – President Barack Obama will be in full campaign mode when he returns to Colorado for a two-day swing next week.

Obama, who’s recently visited Colorado in the aftermath of the Aurora theater shooting and Waldo Canyon Fire, is planning two events on Aug. 8 in Denver and Grand Junction and two more on Aug. 9 in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

Specifics on the events have not been finalized, according to the campaign, which confirmed the dates and general locations for the visit.

Colorado remains one of roughly 10 swing states that will likely decide November’s presidential election.

Republican Mitt Romney is campaigning in Golden Thursday in what will be his first event in the Denver metro area since February.
