Police search for suspect in early morning sex assault

BOULDER, Colo. – Police are searching for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman around 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of 9th Street in Boulder.

According to police, the victim was walking home alone when the suspect grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her.

The attacker fled after the victim resisted and screamed.

A resident of a nearby home heard someone scream and went outside to investigate. The victim asked for help and the resident called police.

The victim did not see the suspect and couldn’t provide a description.
