BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. -- Rescuers will restart their search Friday morning at sunrise for an elderly woman who has been missing in Boulder County since Tuesday.

Patricia Wallace, 74, was hiking the Buchannan Pass Trail near Camp Dick with a group of friends Tuesday afternoon, when she decided to take a different route that she thought would be less difficult.

Wallace, who lives in Lafayette, may be suffering from early stages of dementia. Her daughter says while her mother is in outstanding shape, she is prone to becoming a little confused.

She has hiked the trail in the past, so everyone is hopeful they will find her soon.
