DENVER -- Whether you're for medical marijuana or against it, one thing we all can agree on is nobody likes being in pain.

And medical marijuana does alleviate pain.

"Chronic pain, nausea from chemo therapy, anxiety, glaucoma," says Tripp Keber, managing director of Dixie Elixirs and Edibles.  He makes medical marijuana infused products.

From sweet to savory, foods infused with medical marijuana have grown so much in popularity, that Keber's Colorado-based company is going national.

"In the state of Colorado it's a very widely recognized and trusted brand.  So we'll be able to take that momentum and apply it to these other states that offer some form of medical cannabis."

From medical marijuana infused Tootsie Roll-like candies to MMJ ice cream, all of it is proprietary.

"That represents hundreds of thousands of dollars in research and development that I’ve invested in."

Of the 593 marijuana dispensaries in Colorado, you'll find Keber's products in 450 of them.

So, if you must take your medicine, the words of Mary Poppins ring true – “A spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down....in a most delightful way."
