DENVER – Two men who were shot and killed in Denver’s Cole neighborhood Friday afternoon have been identified as 21-year-old Justin O’Donnell and 30-year-old Deon Rudd. Two others were wounded in the attack.

According to Denver Police, the victims were standing on the sidewalk along East Bruce Randolph Avenue at York Street when they were approached by two men on foot who opened fire.

The suspects then fled the scene. No descriptions were available, and the victim's names were not immediately released.

"I was sitting outside smoking a cigarette, drinking a cup of coffee, a beautiful day, a Friday and all we heard is a lot of shooting,” said Tayseer Muhammed, the manager of a store near the shooting scene. "It's scary. If you come to work one of these days and you never go back home, you'd never know what happened. What can you do?"

"I don't even know how to explain it,” said Bryce King, a friend of one of the victims. “I don't even know how I feel. I can't even cry. I just don't even know how to feel."
