ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos traded cornerback Cassius Vaughn to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for fullback Chris Gronkowski Wednesday.

Gronkowski is entering his third year. He’s played in 21 games.

The Dallas Cowboys signed Gronkowski as a college free agent in 2010. He went to the Colts in 2011.

His career totals include five rushes for 17 yards (3.4 avg.) and seven receptions for 35 yards (5.0 avg.) with one touchdown.

Gronkowski started 15 games at the University of Arizona in 2008-09 after transferring from the University of Maryland.

His brother, Dan, is a tight end with the Cleveland Browns who played for the Broncos in 2010. Another brother, Rob, plays tight end for the New England Patriots.
