ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. — A man walked into an apartment bedroom and shot a woman to death Tuesday according to Adams County Sheriff’s deputies. Then he left and went to a shed where he shot and killed himself.

The shootings happened just before 4 a.m. in the 3300 block of W. 66th Ave. Investigators say witnesses told them the man had a brief conversation with the female before he shot her.

Deputies say there were three generations of family living in the apartment at the time of the shootings, mostly children of the deceased. They range in age from 3-24 years.
