DENVER — Hundreds of Colorado drivers charged with DUI, may actually be innocent.

The state is retesting 1,700 blood samples from the past five months after it was discovered that a lab technician was not following the proper procedures. Results of some of the tests may be skewed.

So far 250 samples have been retested and 10 have come back with different results.

The process will take about six weeks to complete.
