Colorado Springs man accused of fracturing son’s skull

COLORADO SPRINGS – The 22-year-old father of an infant boy has been arrested on charges of child abuse causing serious bodily injury.

The boy, who is two months old, was taken to Memorial Hospital Central to be treated for a skull fracture, possible chest trauma, and bruising to his face and head, according to police spokeswoman Barbara Miller.

The incident occurred Saturday just before 7:00 p.m.

Detectives from the Crimes Against Children Unit believe the boy’s father, Daniel Kim, is responsible for causing the injuries.
