BOULDER, Colo. – A 67-year-old Boulder man faces felony charges after police say he pointed a gun at a 12-year-old boy who was playing hide-and-seek at a birthday party.
Paul Staffin was arrested Friday on suspicion of felony Menacing and Harassment.
According to Boulder Police, the 12-year-old was playing hide-and-seek with a group of kids in the 1900 block of Tincup Circle when he wandered down a few houses, looking for the other children.
“He told police that a neighbor came out of his house, grabbed him, yelled at him and pointed at gun at his chest,” police said “The man allegedly kicked the child as he sent him out of his yard.”
Police say Staffin told them a “prowler” had knocked on his door the night before. They confiscated a revolver-style pellet gun.AlertMe
