Flags lowered in honor of fallen Colorado airman

DENVER -- Gov. John Hickenlooper ordered flags be lowered to half-staff on all public buildings statewide Monday in honor of a Colorado airman who died last month.

U.S. Air Force Capt. Ryan Hall, 30,  was killed Feb. 18 when his U-28 aircraft was in an accident near Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Africa.

He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Kliffa, and two brothers

A funeral is scheduled for Monday at the United State Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel in Colorado Springs.

Hall was assigned to the 319th Special Operations Squadron at Hurlburt Field, Fla.
