BOULDER, Colo. -- Students in Boulder are talking about a man responsible for a string of burglaries.

“I just heard that the guy is like breaking into women’s houses,” said one student.

On Sunday night, a woman awoke in the 1200 block of College and found the man inside her bedroom.

The man claimed he'd been drinking and that he was with the victim's roommate. Police say it was all a lie. The suspect fled with the victim's laptop and jewelry.

The suspect is an African American male is in his early 20's, about 5'7" tall, and he weighs around 160 pounds.

“I think they're really unfortunate and just because we're college students doesn't mean somebody should steal from us,” said Alexandra Coburn.

Police are advising students in the area to keep their windows and doors locked. Anyone with information on the suspect should contact Boulder Police.
