DENVER – Denver Police have released a surveillance photo of the man suspected of stabbing a downtown Denver parking valet Wednesday evening.

The stabbing occurred shortly after 8 p.m. outside Prime Steak House in the 1500 block of Arapahoe St.

Police say the suspect “confronted the victim” and then “bumped into the victim as the victim was running by the suspect.”

The victim continued to run by the suspect when the suspect cut the victim on the back with a sharp object.”

The valet received a large cut on his back that required about 100 stitches, but he is expected to fully recover.

Denver Police released the following suspect description:

  • White male, early 40s
  • 5’5″, 150-160 lbs
  • Carrying towels
  • Brown Jacket, blue jeans
  • Possibly homeless
