DENVER — A 20-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a South Denver light rail station was found guilty by a Denver jury Monday.

Dominique Redwood was found guilty of second-degree kidnapping, sexual assault and aggravated robbery.

On March 6, 2011, a 23-year-old woman was leaving the light rail station at Belleview and Quebec when Redwood walked up behind her. Police say he robbed her at knifepoint and then forced her into an elevator where he sexually assaulted the victim.

Redwood was identified and arrested just a few days later.

He will appear in court March 9 to be advised of his sentencing date.
