Theresa Byrne is a 3rd degree black belt who shares her knowledge at the United Martial Arts & Fitness Center in Englewood.

She has owned the business for 11 years now, teaching self-defense and so much more.

It's always been more than just punching and kicking to Theresa, who sees a much broader positive impact in her students. Her business actually grew during the economic downturn, something she attributes to people seeking a place with "heart" during tough times.
