Police investigate fatal shooting in Park Hill

DENVER – Police are looking for witnesses from a fatal shooting in Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood Tuesday evening.

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 36th Ave. and Hudson St. at about 9 p.m. after receiving a 911 call of a shooting.

“When officers arrived on scene they found one male laying in the street who appeared to be suffering from a gunshot wound,” said DPD spokesman Sonny Jackson. “He was transported to Denver Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.”

The victim’s name was not immediately released. He was 19 years old, according to the Denver coroner.
