Pinpoint Weather: Colorado's Most Accurate ForecastFrom Meteorologist Matt Makens

Smoky Air: The strong West/Southwest winds have transported smoke from wildfires in Utah to the Denver metro area.  So, if you are sensitive to poor air quality you may want to limit your time outside this evening and again Wednesday.

Cooler: Temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper 80s on Wednesday & Thursday thanks to a cold front.  And, there may be an isolated storm each afternoon. Not the kind of rain chances we need to stall the growing fire danger we have across the state.

Holiday Outlook: Friday, Saturday & Sunday will all have small chances of afternoon storms across metro Denver.  Friday’s cooler air doesn’t last…
