KDVR/KWGN offers internships for students interested in broadcasting careers.

Students will have an opportunity to perform duties in the fast-paced environment of a news gathering operation. KDVR/KWGN offers the unique experience of working where two television stations are housed in the same facility, broadcast two morning shows simultaneously, produce and air two daily entertainment programs and provide four hours of nightly news coverage.

Internships are offered in the following departments: News and Production.

The KDVR/KWGN internship program will pay Colorado’s hourly minimum wage.

To be eligible:

  1. You must be 18 or older and a registered student in good standing at an accredited college or university.
  2. Students must be have completed their junior level of education.
  3. Must be able to work the hours required. Depending on assignment, hours may include early mornings, evenings and/or weekends.

To apply, provide a cover letter, resume, proof of school registration and letter that proves you’re eligible to receive college credit to the address below. Applications will not be processed without these items.

Internships are offered during the fall, spring and summer semesters and correspond with the standard academic calendar year. Application deadlines are August 1st for the fall semester, December 15th for spring and April 1st for the summer.
