Tammy Vigil was born, raised, and educated here in Denver, CO. She joined FOX 31 News from KGUN-TV (ABC) in Tucson, AZ where she was weekend anchor and reporter. Previous experience includes being morning anchor/reporter at KRDO-TV (ABC) in Colorado Springs, CO, reporter for KFSM-TV (CBS) in Ft. Smith, AR and KJCT-TV (ABC) in Grand Junction, CO.

She interned for KUSA-TV ( NBC) in Denver, CO and was news editor and writer for the UNC Mirror in Greeley, CO. Tammy earned a bachelor of arts in journalism and mass communication with a minor in political science from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. She graduated with honors.
