Nick Griffith

Sports Director

Sports have always played a very important role in the life of Nick Griffith. The Cincinnati native grew up as a huge fan of the Bengals and the Reds.

In his hometown of Madison, Indiana (just outside of Cincinnati), Nick was a three-sport athlete in high school. He also went on to play baseball at Miami University in Ohio.

As his baseball career winded down though, his broadcasting career picked up.

"Once I realized I wasn't going to be able to play sports for a living, I figured I'd do the next best thing and talk about sports for a living,” he explains.

But Nick's sporting life didn't end when he moved to the broadcast chair. He remains an avid skier, cyclist and fly fisherman, and is thrilled to have the Rocky Mountains as his new playground.

Before landing in Denver, Nick worked as the Lead Sports Anchor at KMBC in Kansas City. Prior to that, he held Sports Director positions at KTKA in Topeka, Kan. and before that at KIDK in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

He holds degrees in broadcast journalism and political science.
