Nick Emmons

Nick anchors Colorado's Own Channel 2 News weekdays at 7 p.m. He moved to this position after anchoring "Good Day Colorado" on FOX31 Denver.

He also reports on FOX31 Denver.

Nick joined KDVR FOX31 Denver from Monterey, Calif. where he was the Morning Anchor for KION Central Coast News.

While at KION, Nick covered a wide range of hard hitting stories including live coverage of the March 11th earthquake and Tsunami that rocked Japan.

Nick anchored continuing coverage as waves from Japan reached California's coastline causing significant damage to Santa Cruz Harbor.

While not at the desk, Nick was part of KION's "Center for Investigative Action." Nick helped expose possible speed traps in Monterey, and even highlighted the latest trend in the "world's oldest profession" as he exposed viewers to the LEGAL world of online prostitution.

Some of his best experiences at KION were the two years he was able to cover the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am. While on the hallowed grounds of Pebble Beach, he was able to interview Hollywood icons like Bill Murray, Andy Garcia, Kevin Costner, George Lopez, and the one...and only...Kenny G.

Nick started his career in Redding, CA as Weekend Sports Anchor at KRCR. While in Redding, Nick ran his own golf series titled, "The Hardest 18." The two month series aired Sundays and highlighted the toughest holes on the hardest golf courses in the Redding/Chico area. Nick also co-anchored "Friday Night Blitz" which aired during high school football season.

Speaking of football, Nick played (that's a stretch) for Division I FCS Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. A quarterback turned running back, Nick lead the team in high fives to starters coming off the field...

Nick is a native of Southern California but grew up mainly in the small beach community of El Segundo...no, not the one you left your wallet in...
