Nick Carter

Meteorologist

Meteorologist Nick Carter is one of the more familiar faces in Denver TV Weather. Originally from Chicago, Nick came to Denver in 1984, after working for KNOE TV in Monroe, Louisiana. He spent the next 24 years at KUSA TV, where he did everything from weathercasting to science reporting. He's been here for all the big blizzards, and severe summer weather as well; the most noteworthy storm being the Windsor Tornado.

Nick doesn't only report on Colorado's weather, he often gets to fly through it before it even reaches the front range. That's because in his spare time, Nick is a pilot for a major air chater company where he flies Denver area physicians to rural medical facilities throughout the Rocky Mountain region.

Nick received his Bachelor of Science in Meteorology in 1982 from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. In his spare time (when he gets it), he enjoys backpacking, road biking, skiing, barbecuing with friends and cooking. He lives in Denver.
