Chris is a seven-time Emmy Award winning reporter, anchor and entertainment host. Early risers will recognize him as the entertainment reporter for our ‘Daybreak’ newscasts on Channel 2. And if you’re home at 10 a.m., you can catch Chris hosting the Emmy Award winning talk show “Everyday,” along with his partner in crime, Kathie J.

He’s been in the tv business for more than 24 years (which clearly means he started when he was five)! Prior to Coming to Denver, Chris was the morning anchor at WAVE-TV in Louisville, Kentucky.

A highlight for Chris was hosting an hour of national television, filling in for Regis Philbin on “Live with Regis & Kelly.” They loved him so much, Chris was invited back to the show a second time, as feature reporter for their “Ambush Makeovers.” He has interviewed hundreds of celebrities, actors and politicians, and his live work has been featured nationally on CNN, FOX and MSNBC.

Though Chris has adopted Colorado has his second home, he’ll always remain a “Hoosier” at heart. Born in Indiana, chris graduated with honors from Indiana University, with degrees in both Journalism and Political Science.

He studied theatre at Indiana University, and got his Improvisation training at Chicago’s famed “Second City.” He’s performed with Improv Troupes at countless festivals and shows. He’s currently performing here in Denver with the troupe he helped found, the “Queerbots.”

  • ‘It’ movie a huge hit

DENVER — I’ve seen  “it,” and until today, I was not allowed to review it. But the embargo has lifted, and I’m thrilled to report this movie scared the “it” out of me. Yes, Pennywise, the shape-shifting clown is terrifying. And a triumph. It’s the right kind of old-fashioned, roller coaster thrills and frights. The scares are well done and perfectly timed. But believe it or not, the kids outshine the clown. This is a coming-of-age story, the “us against […]

Martin might just be the rock star of writers. And, how about this: We snagged the colorado exclusive with George down in Santa Fe.  He’s got a lot to stay, but we start with his thoughts on fame. • ‘Man Of Steel’ film review: Lots of havoc, not enough heart

RELATED: Watch Parente’s exclusive interviews with the cast of ‘Man of Steel’ When I was kid, Superman would leap tall buildings in a single bound. In “Man Of Steel,” he’d rather knock them over. And over. And over. The amount of CGI destruction in this film eclipses almost everything else. And that’s a shame. Henry Cavill brings the right blend of hesitation and self-doubt to his role. Amy Adams is stellar as Lois Lane, redefining the character. But it’s hard […]
