Hot air balloon makes emergency landing in Jefferson County neighborhood

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — There was an aircraft emergency in Jefferson County Saturday morning.

A hot air balloon with two people on board had to set down in a neighborhood east of Chatfield High School. That’s in the area of C470 and West Ken Caryl Avenue.

West Metro Fire Rescue said there were no injures or damage, but there were some surprised folks in the neighborhood.
