Man loses nearly $30,000 after falling for scam involving his time share

DENVER -- A man in Texas says he was taken for nearly $30,000 in a scam where he thought he was going to be able to sell a time share he didn't want any more.

He believed the company he thought was going to help him was located in Denver

The Better Business Bureau says it has seen an increase in these scams recently.

The victim in this case says he has an obligation to alert the public about this, so that it doesn't happen to anyone else.
