Man killed in shooting near Colorado Boulevard and 26th Avenue identified

DENVER — A shooting near Colorado Boulevard and East 26th Avenue killed one person late Friday night.

It happened just after 8 p.m. in the 2600 block of Albion Street.

The victim was identified as An Tan Nguyen. He was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Denver Health Medical Center where he died.

The manner of death is homicide.

Police have released descriptions of the two suspect involved.

One suspect is a black male, approximately 18 years old, 5-feet-five with a thin build. He is estimated to weigh between 135 to 140 pounds.

He was wearing a camouflage jacket – tan, brown, and green in color – when he was last seen.

The second suspect is also described as a black male, approximately 18 years old with a medium build.

He is estimated to be between 5-feet-5 and 5-feet-6 and weighs between 160 to 170 pounds.

He was wearing a white jacket -possibly denim – and was armed with a handgun.

Police have not released a possible motive for the murder.
