Video shows thieves stealing package containing Bible from El Paso County home

WIDEFIELD, Colo. — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two suspects who are accused of taking a package from a home on Sunday afternoon.

Two females were seen walking in front of the victim’s home in the 4000 block of Silver Star Grove about 2:15 p.m. Sunday, the sheriff’s office said.

Surveillance video shows one of the females walking to the victim’s front porch, picking up a package delivered by Amazon and leaving.

The package contained a Bible, two packs of oral rinse, three packs of Sonicare replacement toothbrush heads and a custom Leathercraft work gloves, the sheriff’s office said.

The first suspect is a white female, 16 to 24 years old. She has long, dark hair in a ponytail. She was wearing a reddish sweatshirt, black or gray sweatpants and black boots.

The second suspect is a white or Hispanic female, 16 to 24 years old. She was wearing a black hoodie with white lettering or a picture on the front, and black or gray sweatpants or jeans.
